Sofas from a Riga manufacturer
Sofas are Podrez's core category: 397 options we have been making in Latvia for over 18 years. Straight models start at €179, corner sofas at €270, and even large modular setups stay under €1332. With no middlemen between the factory and the buyer, prices stay at factory level — and the 2-year warranty (10 years on frames) is honoured locally, by the people who built the sofa.
By shape
- Straight sofas — compact two-seaters to wide family models.
- Corner sofas — for rooms where the sofa is the centrepiece and the bed.
- Modular sofas — build the shape yourself, extend it later.
- On a budget — the Ekonom+ line from €204, same warranty.
Sofa beds: the mechanism matters most
For nightly use, pick the mechanism before the fabric. The Podrez standard — on straight and corner models alike — is the eurobook: the seat rolls forward, the backrest drops into its place — two moves, a flat sleeping surface, and a linen box underneath. The one exception is the flagship Boston with its dolphin mechanism. Every product page lists the unfolded sleeping size — compare that with your room, not just the sofa's width.
Many models also let you choose the seat filling as an option on the product page. Five tiers: a basic 10 cm foam board, zig-zag springs, slats, pocket springs, or pocket springs topped with a coconut board for firm back support; a comparison guide opens right on the product page. For daily sleeping, pick the pocket-spring or coconut tier.
How much does a sofa cost?
Straight sofas from €179, corner sofas from €270, modular elements from €99. Current sale prices are flagged in the catalogue.
Can a sofa bed replace a bed?
Yes — eurobook and dolphin mechanisms are built for daily folding. Choose a model with a linen box so the bedding lives inside the sofa during the day.
